Get A Head Start

Jayhawk JumpStart is an early access move-in program that provides Hawk Link students with an on-campus experience to enhance the transition to KU.

Stay Connected

Hawk Link students have FULL access to a Hawk Link Coordinator who help students map their journey to success in one-to-one meetings, while discussing the goals and needs of each individual.

Linking You to KU

Hawk Link assists students with navigating campus, identifying campus resources, and linking students to educational opportunities in the community.

Participate in Hawk Link events, visit with a Hawk Link Coordinator, attend Jayhawk JumpStart (formerly OPTIONS), or engage on social media. There are many ways to get connected to Hawk Link, fill out the Hawk Link Interest form to get started or stop by our office (Summerfield Suite 130)

Absolutely! KU offers several support programs that offer targeted support or a smaller campus community. Students should absolutely apply for programs that interest them including TRIO SES & STEM, Honors, Emerging Scholars, McNair Scholars and so many others. You are welcome to invite others to attend events with you. Some academic services and trips may be limited due to cost but unless stated, all events are open to all Jayhawks.

Hawk Link primarily serves undergraduate students but we support our graduate students as well. We also partner with graduate studies to offer events. 

Yes, Hawk Link does provide support to transfer students coming to KU.
